SEAToday.com, Jeddah - The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MoHU) in cooperation with the Saudi National Bank (SNB AlAhli) launched the world’s first international digital wallet named “Nusuk Wallet” to serve Umrah and Hajj pilgrims, Monday (6/3).

This feature allows pilgrims to manage their money and expenses during their stay. MoHU Director of Digital Experience Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Maiman called the launch a local and international achievement. He said the launch brought them closer to their target of building a super-app that fulfills the needs of pilgrims.

Nusuk Wallet integrates a number of latest technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and biometric identification. It is also the world’s first open loop digital wallet embedded in an app. The digital wallet is also compatible with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) instructions ensuring the highest standards of financial security and regulatory compliance.
