SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Philippine national team player Adrian Cortes Ugelvik sustained a serious head injury during the match against Indonesia on Tuesday (6/11). While attempting to control the ball near the Indonesian goal, Adrian collided head first with the ground.
Medical personnel rushed him off the field in an ambulance for treatment at a local hospital.
According to a post on the Philippine national team's X account (@/pmnft_official), Adrian is currently in stable condition and undergoing recovery.
On the other hand, PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir has pledged to ensure Adrian receives the best possible medical care.
