SEAToday.com, Doha - Indonesian national team player Justin Hubner admits that he can't wait to compete in the 2023 Asian Cup. This is Justin's first official event with the Indonesian national team since he was officially naturalized.
"This is extraordinary, we can be in the Asian Cup, I can't wait to start and we will train here, we are in a difficult group and match," said Justin as reported by the official PSSI website.
Justin is one of the 24 players that Shin Tae-yong brought to the 2023 Asian Cup. He has joined the Indonesian national team since training camp in Turkey.
Justin said the Indonesian national team would work hard at the 2023 Asian Cup.
"We will fight and work hard in the group matches (against Iraq, Vietnam and Japan), for our family, for the fans and everyone. We'll see," he concluded.
Indonesia is in Group D with Iraq, Japan and Vietnam. Indonesia will face their first match against Iraq on January 15 2024.
