SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Jakarta provincial government, through the Jakarta Transportation Agency, launched five buses for special needs students on Wednesday (1/17). Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono said it would gradually improve services and the fleet of school buses to meet accommodations for special needs students in Jakarta. In addition, he also urged residents to support students to attend school, while his party also strives to provide the best facilities.

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head Syafrin Liputo said the bus is equipped with CCTV with a capacity of seven passengers with wheelchairs, 10 seats, 19 standing passengers and a tactile floor that is helpful as a walking guide for students with visual impairment.

Currently, there are several routes served by this bus including Rorotan-Marunda (SLBN 8), Plumpang-Kemayoran (SLBN 9) and three buses departs from Kalideres, Lubang Buaya, and Muara Baru to YPAC Kebayoran Baru school.
