SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Jakarta provincial government will open 1,700 Individual Work Contract (IWC) formations for honorary teachers in August.
This was announced by the acting governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, Saturday (7/20).
“Please prepare yourself, take the test and there is a correct mechanism, so there will be interviews that will be completed by the rules,” he said.
According to Jakarta government records, there are currently 4,000 volunteer teachers. In 2025, KKI will reopen with a quota of 2,300 teachers.
Heru said KKI is an effort so that volunteer teachers get their rights well and become a concern of the DKI governor and the Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Ministry in the future so that they can become State Civil Apparatus (ASN).
