SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) Silmy Karim, confirmed on Friday (6/28), that all immigration services have been fully restored following a cyber attack on the National Data Center (PDN) that began on Thursday (6/20). Immigration services include functions like border crossings, online visa applications, residence permits, and passport processing.
Silmy said that the immigration crossing system at airports has been operational again since Saturday (6/22). Regarding the M-Passport application, he advised users to reinstall the app after this incident to ensure proper functionality.
The Immigration Department will provide further communication regarding the full restoration of the PDN system once it's back online.
