SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The 2023 Indonesian International Storytelling Festival (FDII) was officially opened by representatives from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Restu Gunawan as Director of Cultural Development and Institutions, and Agus Sutoyo as Head of the Center for Library Information Services and Nusantara Manuscripts Management.
The series of FDII 2023 events took place from November 24-26, 2023, at the Jakarta Library, Alex Tilaar Study Room, and the National Library of Indonesia.
This year's FDII was held in conjunction with the third Asian Storytellers Federation, which was previously held in Singapore and India.
FDII 2023 was enlivened by the presence of hundreds of storytellers from home and abroad, such as Alicia Dongjoo Bang from Korea, Alla Lebedeva from Russia, Ethnotec from America, Rani Kanna and Kalah Rajesh from Singapore, PM Toh from Indonesia, Tania Putri, and MAN (Rival Hilman).
FDII 2023 was also enlivened with performances by children's music groups, public figures, storytelling communities, and Ayo Dongeng Indonesia volunteers who invited us to have fun together.
