Here are the surfing spots available in West Nusa Tenggara from beginner level to professional level as mentioned by the West Nusa Tenggara Tourism Board.
- Selong Belanak
This beach, which is famous for its long, wide, sloping, and white sandy coastline, is one of the most popular surf spots in Central Lombok Regency. With interesting wave pressure and rolls and not too high, it is a suitable spot for beginners who want to learn the sport of surfing.
- Senggigi Beach
Needless to say, this beach located in West Lombok Regency is one of the most popular destinations among tourists. Not only known as a destination with beautiful sunset views but Senggigi Beach is also known as one of the surf spots with friendly waves for beginners.
- Gerupuk Beach
For surfers, one of these spots may be familiar. Located about 15 minutes from Kuta Beach Lombok, this beach is suitable for those of you who are good at surfing. The strength of the waves and the wind are big enough to be the target for surfers. According to surfline.com, Grupuk’s wave has a height of 1,8 m to 2,4 m around February.
- Areguling Beach
Still around the southern part of Lombok, Are Guling Beach is a white sand beach with quite a lot of coral. The waves are also quite large.
